She's read a whole story to herself - 4 chapters! And started on the next. And said she loves reading and it's just like we said, the story happens in your head and you can just go on as much as you like without having to listen to someone or wait.
And yes, it is Rainbow fairies! And do I care? Nooooooooooooooooo

I have no experience of Rainbow Fairies but who cares what they start off reading. does it really matter how rubbish the stories are to us grown ups, not at all! as long as something grabs their attention and interests them enough to want to read it for themselves then who bloody cares, multicoloured tiny winged creatures... dinosaurs that live in space... they're just fun fantastical stories, they have plenty of time later to move on to Shakepeare Dickens et al.
