Today went to:
an argument about whether we were going to get to the bus station in time to catch the bus or not (we did, once the argument was over and we could make up a bit of time lost);
a bus ride out to The Mohair Centre;
meeting up with other home-educating families there and feeding pigs and goats, stroking rabbits and guinea-pigs, playing in the play area and having a little very assisted go at spinning yarn;
a walk where we took it in turns to choose which way to go, or tossed a coin;
some more Djeco craft - sand art and mosaics - F is doing a bit of her mosaic one every day, gradually getting it done, and I helped her a bit to finish one of the sand art ones, which she was very happy with.
We chatted a lot whilst walking and crafting, which was lovely. She told me how she sees the difference between art and craft.
And now she's out on her scooter with the other children on our street, grabbing their last wedge of daylight. J has just come home and has had official confirmation that he still has his job (there is a restructuring thing going on) so we're going to have a Chinese takeaway, sod it!

yay for job keepage. Hope you enjoyed that takeaway x
excellent job!! the sand art we did in more than one sitting - and i had a child to each pic :) the mosaic ones were quicker. did you buy a stitching one too?? we added extra sequins to ours - lol!
Yes the sand one took a couple of sittings and was more of a doing together one, the mosaic she can just do a bit as and when, and she's been good about putting it away afterwards. Got the stitching one and F's friend has had a go at that today with a bit of help and liked it, love the colours of those, so rich. Also have a jewellery one still to open as well as ongoing watercolours and gel pastels generally being used now and then.
