More days that went to:
All the usual things: Maths, Geography, Aerial, Dance, Guides, Friday Club (Art is off for a few weeks and Forest School only started yesterday but we missed it because Freya wasn't well)
Plus another nice afternoon at Spring Barn, this time with L and the Rs, and an R coming back with us for a sleepover, which went really well, they played chess and some other board games, did some very funny songs in Tamodachi Life and played Mario Party and made chocolate pinwheel pastries the next day
A trip for me to Reading to go to a friend's surprise 40th birthday party, which was fun, lovely to see people I hadn't seen for a long time. A lot of laughs and memories, some proper catch-up conversation - also fantastic food!
A new drama thing for Freya and some of the other Friday Club people - a 6-week project with a satirical flavour, around the story of St George and the Dragon, building up to a street theatre performance before the election
My script/drama thing - love doing it, had 7 this time and did some good work on characters and their opinions, the time whizzes by so fast in those sessions, next time we are going to look at the workplaces in the fictional village and what jobs their characters might do
Freya going to M's after that for the afternoon
Girls coming on Thursday with Art not being on - left them to it again and they played more board games I think, including ZomBN1
A nice chat in the pub with C (me not Freya, she was at Guides round the corner) - good to catch up properly, and I had wine
A mad job for me to start March off with, a huge volume of words and I did a small amount on Friday before gong to Reading on Saturday, did a little bit on train, then had to do the remaining 80% of it in 2 and a half days, so pulled an all-nighter on Monday night, a proper one, amazingly didn't find myself falling asleep even at that 5am point, think it was the adrenaline keeping me going - the customer kept adding bits and making changes even on deadline day, so they added some to the total for that, making it pretty much a whole month's money in the first job of the month!
A Harry Potter marathon - Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows 1 yesterday, Deathly Hallows 2 today.
Next up: 2 sleepovers, Book Club and must finish the Chemistry and Physics books, which have been neglected in a busy fortnight.
