Helter skelter in a summer swelter

What F has done:
watched tons of Jane and the Dragon (I really like that programme, especially the theme song) and then paused it at certain points, drawn parts of the dragon's body, copying from the screen and coloured them, cut them out, joined them together with glue and had me add crossbrace straws and a length of wool so she could fly her dragon
invented a mini-golf game in the garden, setting up obstacles and consequences, such as 'if your ball rolls over the piece of paper with 'NO' written on it, you have to go back to the start' - the game ran to six levels today, some just on the patio, others taking you up steps and to the top of the garden and each one ending with a different soft toy guarding the last bit and part of the game was to distract the soft toy with something - conversation with another soft toy, a fight by another toy, an LED light stick thing - she came up with very specific routes, designs and rules for the game and it was excellent - some coke cans from the recycling were mini-robots that the ball had to be guided around, a piece of our old Brio canal was turned upside down for a tunnel that the ball had to go through, the LED light stick had to be switched on so that Dozy Mog would look at it and the ball could sneak into the 'home' section past him while he was distracted - apparently he thinks it's Buzz Lightyear!
designed and made a paper outfit for Dozy Mog - drew a picture of how it would fit him, then put him on a piece of paper and drew circles where holes would have to be cut for his head, paws and tail, got me to help with cutting and sticking
been to the park and played and giggled a lot
played with sand a lot

What I have done:
worked like eff knows what
worked with J on Sunday after the worst of the heat was over to clear the patio and make it nice for sitting out again
online socializing
