Went back to hospital and got F's metal plate removed from arm - all went OK, though extraordinary amount of waiting around being misinformed - so glad they got all the metal out OK. She came round a bit fast afterwards and was delirious for a while, alternately raging and screaming about having a big bandage back on her arm and telling us she loved us, while I spoonfed her with yoghurt from her hospital snack box. It was a very stressful time - a week later we're just about recovering from it, what with the first attempt having been cancelled and all!

Dr Who watching Saturday attended by the MTs, a very relaxed affair
RSPB Wildsquare - observing local nature
Treasure hunt/quiz trail around local area - F and I planned it and set the trail for another local home-ed family - really enjoyed it and they're doing a return one for us.
New bed for F, coming tomorrow, hooray! Should be able to sort her room at last...
Daisy books (The Trouble With...) going down well - went to GP to have her stitches and dressing checked and bought a Daisy book and she read most of it while we were out afterwards, at coffee shop and then at Pizza Express, she was completely absorbed in the book
Life on Earth - we're up to birds now, she's still really enjoying these programmes, big success here.
Me - too many small/medium jobs, so too many short deadlines, and also a horrid cold now
