Wednesday 27th May
Think we were at home and did some revision stuff and a lot of BB.
Thursday 28th May to Friday 29th May
Freya met D in the afternoon (J had hurt her ankle) and they had lunch in Grange Gardens, then went to Pells Pool and did a bit of shopping I think before going to Art. Afterwards Freya went back to J and D's for a sleepover. Next day more swimming (in cold and rain) with a few more people before she appeared home to be snuggly in a onesie.
Heard that L was in hospital so planned to visit over weekend. Sad. Such a clever, creative and imaginative person. Don't want her to be disappearing bit by bit, with stories left untold.
Saturday 30th May
Looked at some Chemistry (and Physics?). Made a pie for dinner.
Sunday 31st May
Visited L, played Bananagrams. Good to see her and A.
Monday 1st June
Geography and Maths for Freya. Work for me I think? Can't remember much, it's been that kind of week, bit challenging.
Tuesday 2nd June
Day at home, Chemistry, Physics. Windy weather.
Wednesday 3rd June
Freya had Forest School - at last some sunshine. I didn't feel great, bit challenging being in cafe for 3 hours and some very noisy little kids at the last half hour, banging on seats over and over with their parents never explaining to them the reasons why they shouldn't, while my head went boom more and more. Partly hayfever, partly stress, partly noisy children.
Had a lift home, which was much appreciated, and Freya went back to K's house for the rest of the day.
I got my work done earlier than expected, so didn't have to stay up into the small hours.
Thursday 4th June
Freya had English, then home for an hour or so, then Dance and Art, me meeting her for dinner at Costa, then Guides.
I picked up letter from GP to give to College for submission re exceptional circumstances for her Chemistry exam, due to the missed Paper 1 when she had the seizure. One less thing to have to sort out. I was grateful as had been told 2 weeks at one point but I wrote Urgent on it and they had done it, thank goodness.
Friday 5th June
Visited L, now at home. With K visiting too, they played Bananagrams and did some fruit sticker tattoos.
Bus back got stuck in traffic. Freya on a streak of imaginative conversation including 'imagine if time is a vector'; 'imagine if you could get really giant daisies' (e.g. sunflower-sized); 'what if all of this is really a reflection of the real world and we're just all in the reflection and the real thing is going on out there'
