Angelina and alphabet animals

Today:
F and I devoted a large part of the day to attracting an Elephanilla (Viva Pinata) - I helped her at first and our first two died before being residents, so we couldn't call the doctor out to them. Then she got another one and got them to romance so they had a baby Elephanilla. She wants to do similar tomorrow for a Roario.
Other than that we chatted, eased one of our alphabet animals out of its mould and flolloped around.
She has been spotting words and reading them here and there and also having a go at writing some now and then. Also a bit of drawing.

Tuesday was:
Blahs in the morning, neither F nor I felt much inspired or energetic so we were a bit lollish.
In the afternoon we rallied after each having a bath and made some alphabet animals from a kit, pouring plaster into the little moulds - very vague instructions but nicely detailed moulds so quite good. In the evening we met J at the station and were off by train to Hastings to meet Grandma Ju and see the Angelina Ballerina ballet, which was a bit on the daft side, in the way that only the strange combination of ballet and animal costumes can be. F enjoyed it very much so that was the main thing!I thought the costumes were excellent, but ballet is a very old language and is kind of odd when applied to modern children's concepts somehow. Not that Angelina is exactly modern in most ways. Anyway there was some good characterization (Henry and the little princess, and Miss Lilli) and it was fun. F loves to be out in the evening, in the dark and loves the theatre too. We all went for pizza afterwards and then back on the train by 10.

Of course it's daft - it's a giant talking mouse wearing a pink tutu and dancing!! Glad she enjoyed it :)

Now you put it like that, no wonder it's daft!
