Another brief one.
Went to library twice - once for F to have an epic tantrum and once for us to erase the memory of that and to give me the chance of choosing books without being shouted at. We've got loads of books now. I love the library.
F helped with a few tidying/recycling type things (not as paid jobs), did a bit of drawing, was very sorry about the tantrum and talked it through very sensibly.
On today's redemptive trip to library we bumped into next door neighbours there and had a nice chat. They had their grandson with them, who seemed quite a character - he looked about 9 and was getting Norman Wisdom videos out and wearing a tailcoat. Next door neighbours are rather nice.
Then bumped into some people we used to see at drama who home-educate, so swapped phone numbers with a view to meeting up - they have moved a bit nearer us - her daughter is a good 2 years older than F I think, so not sure how much common ground they would find, but might still be nice to see them and chat.
Then finally on way back through park bumped into some other neighbours and stopped to play frisbee with them briefly.
I love that we meet people we know so much whenever we go out! Especially if I've actually washed my hair within recent memory and am not wearing laundry-day trousers.
Not sure what else - usual Googling, bits of telly, incidental reading, chats, but can't remember much.

We often have to reply 'bad' scenes with Master R in order to get the 'happy ending', he insists. Not sure if that makes much sense but from some of the things you've written maybe it will to you.
I often have days where I leave the house thinking 'Please don't lets bump into anyone we know' so so know what you mean about laundry trouser days.
Yes that does make sense, definitely. Glad someone else has laundry clothes days.
