Spring Barn and lots of work

Sunday 30th March
Fencing in the morning for Freya, 90 mins chatting time with M for me.
Had a long bath in the afternoon, listening to Hitchhikers' Guide on iPlayer. Nice. Might have done some maths and science with Freya - if we did I think it was half a SAT paper for maths and some stuff about nutrition for science.

Monday 31st March
N came over to play after an initial communication failure, probably my fault, oops anyway. Freya and N were BunBun and Piggy, and did various comfortable and happy things, including watching The Parent Trap. A nice relaxed visit. Then Aerial for both, though they are in different groups.
Freya did this:

Tuesday 1st April
Spring Barn with 2 other families and glorious sunshine, with actual heat in it. The children did 'Meet the Small Animals' and 'Egg Collecting' and 'Pig Feeding' as well as time on jumping pillow, zip wire, drop slide, etc. Freya went on the drop slide and successfully managed to launch herself, having needed a push each time previously.

Wednesday 2nd April
Freya went to Forest School, some clay was involved and a bath when she got home. We went into town to pick up some things for J and had a drink in Costa. Later we did some French I think, not very sure - oh I think we just went over some recent stuff - animals and months mainly. I definitely stayed up into small hours working - April off to a good start workwise.

Thursday 3rd April
Freya had Dance and Guides but not Art in between. I had lots of work still, so was very glad that she was able to walk to and back from Dance without me. At Guides she did some tie-dyeing of leggings, very nice. I stayed up again, working and then preparing book club.

Friday 4th April
Book club was on a Jacqueline Wilson theme and quite end-of-term feeling, with only 7 of the usual 12 girls there and a last-minute change of support parent. Very fun session with plenty of charades.
J had an interview for a job, hoping to hear early next week - same place, more money and hours and responsibility. He looked jolly smart!

Too tired to do a better job of blogging but having some nice days generally.
