Out and about a bit and some snow

On Monday - hooray - we actually made it to library storytime with plenty of time to spare (but not too much, or there would have been a danger period for restlessness to take hold!). It wasn't the usual story reader, but the books were well chosen and after initial nervousness the man reading this week was really good. The stories were all about animals and all quite funny. F seemed to enjoy most of it. She started off being a bit lairy, but got used to the idea that it was a shared group experience after a while and was then better at listening, and not stopping other people seeing the book etc.
And on Tuesday we went to Music and Movement, where F was, among other things, a crocodile and a little bird, then onto the mum-and-toddler caff where she and her friend R roamed around enjoying themselves thoroughly.
On the way home it snowed, just starting near the end of our walk thank goodness. We had only been in the house two minutes when we saw that everything had turned white outside, fantastic!
Today our WebLand free trial has arrived, so we'll be doing some of that I expect.
I'm in a great mood, finished some work yesterday that I was really pleased with, and then got 9 hours sleep! So want to make the most of it by doing some good things with F.
