Really proud of F today - she worked so hard in Little Ninjas and really concentrated - she is such a daydreamy child but she is getting the hang of controlling it when necessary, which is useful. Often I watch and see her drifting off just when something is being explained, and then she doesn't know what she is meant to be doing. Today I saw her really listening, focusing and trying her best - and enjoying it. Also she and R suddenly remembered that they are friends and had a huge cuddle and tickle after the session.
F has generally been very nice company the last couple of days, after a bit of a tricky period which was partly due to illness. She has been drawing, listening to music and audio books, watching Animalia and discussing it in depth, doing tiny bits of incidental reading and writing, googling and stuff.
I have been working quite a bit again and am looking forward to the Xmas break.
What else? Oh, F rang S to say Happy Birthday this morning.
Also she has been involved with some kind of imaginary pet which has required a bit of looking after. And lots of very specific questions about what various words mean and stuff.
