I finally caught up on all the poultry industry programmes on Channel 4. I'm really glad I don't have to eat chicken! I think they did a great job - Jamie O's prog. covered pretty much all the relevant points - normally such programmes focus on one aspect or another and lose the big picture. I seriously hope that at least some of the GBP will change their eating habits as a result. When a culture treats natural sentient life as a product, so relentlessly and mechanically, there is a price to pay, perhaps in terms of how life is viewed generally within the culture.
