On Wednesday I completed my work just in time, my much-loved friend Juliette came and whisked me away to her house via the delights of the chiller and snack aisles at Waitrose, for a picky bits lunch and chat. Bliss! We have so much to talk about and really never get the chance - if one could force people to be on YIM, she would be my first choice! We spent about 4 or 5 hours together including hilariously getting lost on the way home which was sort of the best bit as it put us in neutral territory and took us back to similar car-journeys in our late teens and early 20s. A lovely catch-up.
Back at my mum's I had a long soak and a glass of wine to celebrate meeting my deadline, which had been a bit harder than expected. I chucked a salady dinner together and F ate quite a bit of it, as well as apple crumble and ice-cream!
Meanwhile F had been doing a bit more painting and playing with the ornaments and had written 2 secret letters to me and J saying she loved us, with help (bits written for her to copy) from my mum - she went up to the post box with my mum to post them too.
