The Jungle Refreshment Cafe

I just spent 20 minutes watching telly, at the end of which F came and said 'come and see the jungle refreshment cafe mummy'.
I trooped out into the hall and found she had gone to the fridge, got some fresh coriander (had a plan to cook proper Mexican food about a week ago, didn't happen!) and had draped the little stalks and leaves over the banisters and door handles to make what she calls a 'Jungle Refreshment Cafe'. Now she's adding some baby spinach!
And sure enough when I went into the kitchen a bit later, there was a carpet of green beans on the floor anointed with lemon juice. No point getting too cross about the waste by the way as due to our plague-ridden lack of appetite, it was all past its use by date.
