All good innit

Been working hard, have finished penultimate job of year and one more week of working to go, but we've still managed to fit in:
a great conversation where F was asking me who I would like to come to a surprise birthday party if she was to arrange one for me with J's help and making suggestions, discussing possible guests, rating uncles and aunts in order, etc.
F pouring water from one jug with measurement markings to another and observing numbers of millilitres in a casual manner
F watching more Look and Read and discussing 'oo' and getting me to write 3-letter words that Magic E could be added to and talking about how they changed, similar stuff with question marks, 'suppostrophes!' and full stops
a couple of 'parties' with F in her room
a big tidy of living-room, chucking out quite a lot, even starting to file paperwork
all the usual things - train track, singing, HappyLand, cuddles, Gears Gears Gears and XBox
nice visits from MonsterTeenies (next time remind me to plug the XBox dance mat in before we dance) and D and co. from up the road in the rich bit with the huge houses
and a few nice observations:
"This year I was in a Cinderella show and we're going to a Cinderella pantomime and we've been watching The Slipper and the Rose, next year will it be a Snow White show and pantomime and a film called The Apple and the Rose..." We then extended it to The Little Mermaid ('The Human and the Rose' or 'The Legs and the Rose') among others.
