Here comes hectic

Am still feeling so glad we went off for a swim on a whim on Wednesday. Spontaneous trips/activities do suit me and I'm going to, er, plan more of them...

Yesterday F watched a bit more Words and Pictures Plus - I swear that bloke off Tikkabilla is teaching her to read, the sod! Str, spr, shr, ld, lk, etc.
HH, my cuz's wife and long-time YIM and forum mate, came for a really nice visit. I didn't have a chance to hoover so I just relaxed and let the dirt lie. HH brought a unicorn film for Freya, The Last Unicorn, which we watched, though I was a bit up and down checking food. F loves anything unicorn-related and loves HH too, so they snuggled on the sofa.
Then my bath-bomb making supplies arrived in an enormous box, at least 5 times the size of the content. So we pulled out all the packaging and that took up even more space strewn all over the floor, so much so that when we eventually did dispose of it, the living-room almost looked tidy by contrast, as in the Squash and a Squeeze story of the old woman who has to share her house with goats and chickens and things before getting rid of them and deciding her home is perfectly spacious, thanks. Part of the packaging included some rather fine large white paper bags which will be usable for something, so HH kindly folded those up for me to stick in the craft cupboard. F decided that two of these bags would make a perfect dove costume for the show her drama group are doing on Sunday, but was happily persuaded eventually that the drama group teacher might prefer to use the costumes she has designed and produced herself for the show. Nevertheless we helped F to make a dove costume out of two bags, with holes cut and bits taped together and 2 silver foil wings which seemed more angelic than dove-like. HH is one of those visitors who goes happily along with the autonomous madness as it comes up, rather than trying to pretend it's not really happening!
Other things: me working a lot, but it needs to be done and anyway I love it really; plumber has sorted out the drip at long long last, which means F will hopefully sleep better and indeed already seemed to do so last night; busy few days coming up with 2 parties and drama group show.
Disappeared to do a few chores and lost me thread so bye for now.
