Home day. F spent a lot of time on Viva Pinata and got into selling off lots of stuff from many of her gardens, seeing what different things were worth, etc. I worked in the morning - really back on top of things workwise, which is a relief! J came home for lunch and we ate outside - fresh crusty bread and lots of picky veggie bits - olives, sundried toms, cuke, carrot, pepper, houmous, avocado, rocket, watercress. F made mixtures of raw mushroom, Pringles, spinach leaves and marinated tofu, which she called 'Risotto Raw' and ate quite a bit of. I tried some, it was quite good, good balance of textures.
In the afternoon, F and I watched a Follyfoot and a Dr. Bob (the gender one from a couple of weeks ago). She read a bit of the front introductory page to the book J is currently reading her at bedtime. Her reading continues to improve gradually - she's not doing loads at the moment, but is gradually increasing the vocab she can read and consolidating what she already knows, I think. She's basically far closer to reading than not reading, but hovering on the brink a bit right now.
She is very wobbly physically at the moment, knocking things over at frequent intervals and having several falls or other accidents a day.
Made a carrot and nut salad and a bean'n'green salad with different dressings and we had them for dinner with samosas/spring rolls. We watched some old Dr Who and now J is reading F the start of The Return of the Hundred-Mile-an-Hour Dog, and she is giggling like crazy.
