I have been working a lot this week and F has been:
playing with an imaginary dog in the garden, then joined by it's imaginary friend
making things for the imaginary dogs, constructed out of string and tin-cans mainly
playing with water on patio
talking about different food types
going on CBBC, CBeebies and Nick Jr websites
experimenting with water and ice
watching Numberjacks and Shaun the Sheep
making soft toys put on more shows - a version of Hansel and Gretel in particular, in which the cast argued a bit amongst themselves over what they were meant to be doing
enjoying stories from My Secret Unicorn and Winnie-The-Pooh being read to her - even made me take the giant hardback WTP collected stories to park to read one to her there
playing at park - schools now have broken up for summer so our 3pm pattern is no use any more
doing tiny bits of reading or attempting to read words here and there with a little bit more confidence - a feeling of 'I can probably do this and getting the odd bit wrong doesn't mean I'm not doing it right on the whole'
helpful - picking up bits of rubbish without nagging, taking plates/bowls out to kitchen
managing to dress herself from scratch, just starting to do it without me preparing her top so that she only has to take it in the right way
generally very good and lovely while I've been working, with only a couple of rows between us all week
