I worked all night and continued into the day with no sleep. Stooopid me for not managing to get it done during last week cos I wanted to pretend I was on holiday like J. Ah well twas ever thus. Met my deadline head on in the late afternoon anyway. Next deadline is 30th.

Whilst I was working, F was playing with ponies, making increasingly interesting/tall marble runs, watching Dr Who and lots of Tracy Beaker, eating cereal and sandwiches, jumping on the sofa, etc. Watched a brief bit of a programme about racism in the schools slot, which we had a good conversation about. Tracy Beaker always generates plenty of chat between us too.
Despite the workload it was a nice day, F seemed happy and content again, chatty and smiley.
I'm very much looking forward to bed and sleep.
