Bean Sprain SOS

Wednesday...
...was the day that began with Dr Dozy Mog and Nurse Fuzzy Cat (rolls eyes at gender stereotyping and blames telly of course) visiting me in bed to treat a variety of ailments (apprently called 'compliments' or that might have been the treatments), using various imaginary items such as a reflex hammer (on my eyes), scissors (my hair had to be cut as it was interfering with my hand somehow), bandages (for my little finger which was very poorly). Also my ear had 'run out of sound because of a potion put in it' and I had to have water for a croaky voice. A few other symptoms were also treated by the feline medical duo. F also had to be treated for something apparently called 'bean sprain SOS' (maybe Helen Haricot might know something?) which had resulted from a bean going down in her knee every day and hurting a lot.
After that, the cats played I Spy Snap which I don't think will catch on.
Then we waved from upstairs to J, who was just off to work and eventually we got up and came downstairs.
F asked me about Star Wars and whether the man really ever intended to make 9 films (an occasionally-discussed bone of contention here!). We looked him up on the Internet and couldn't really decide.
Then she drew her 'new favourite character' from Star Wars, which turns out to be.... Han Solo!
Next she started making a Barbie Horse Adventure book but felt a bit uninspired.
She took the small table into the kitchen twice to attempt a raid on some 'up high' small easter eggs but came back each time saying she hadn't managed it - actually she had and took about 8 small eggs up to her room and pigged out, coming down a little later saying that was too much chocolate and confessing all.
She also played with Rumble in the Jungle a bit, watched Backyardigans, played with ponies and DS in room, made a waterfall outside and played with sand and water a lot of the afternoon.
The afternoon ended with her having a bubble bath in the paddling pool with a duck and a watering can, after a huge row between us about where it would be - there she was screaming at the top of her voice out there, lovely for the poor neighbours trying to enjoy their gardens! I had to stick my ground on that one and eventually she calmed down, and a short while later, compromised to accept my original offer.
We watched 50/50 and suddenly she wanted blues to win! WTF! She always wants yellows!
Other things - we watched Flushed Away when J came home, which we all quite enjoyed (although F said it had a sad ending because the original boat had gone) and she ate a reasonable amount of salady bits.
She suddenly asked, at different times, what the words 'sexy' and 'agent' meant, so J and I faffed around a bit answering those. I think she heard 'sexy' on a property programme.
She finished her day by letting the cats treat J with more 'compliments' for various conditions and then having a chapter of My Secret Unicorn.

F's imagination is wonderful - lovely stuff to read.

Bit late getting to this, but I believe bean sprain is cured by chocolate - well it always works for me anyway!
