Well, OK, we made it to the local shop and back - was hard going but we did it! And F is walking around a lot now, limping and mainly using only the toes of the hurt foot, but nevertheless mobile again.
And very fidgety and restless of course.
Other than that she has done a bit more drawing and written a few odd letters and words here and there and recognized the word 'dog' on something, as well as the word 'cast' (when Dr Who came back! Hoorah! We all very much enjoyed the first episode and the rest looks excellent too).
She has been watching Fairytopia, which she had wanted for over a year, and Magic of the Rainbow, plus 50/50 (we always support yellows) and a few other things.
And she does a lot of clambering about and testing her foot and her balance.
When she sprained it before she did just the same as she has this time, she stayed off it for almost 3 weeks, crawling everywhere (this time she has the advantage of being old enough to be able to hop), then started using it and testing it. I really feel she instinctively knows what she is doing with the whole process.
Can't remember what it was but she came out with some really quite cool bit of deductive reasoning at some point.
What else?
Have been playing scrabble online and dealing with disruptive dishwasher (wants attention having seen the washing machine getting some). Finally caught up with washing backlog and have even hoovered the stairs.
This is really an attempt to get back to more frequent blogging, so I'll hopefully get less prosaic and vague over the next few days.
